Asian Drug War Healing Circle

The Asian Drug War Healing Circle is an intergenerational space for Asians (East, West, South, Central, bicultural, diaspora) folks who identify as people who use drugs and/or love people who use drugs. Together, we hope to deepen our understanding of and heal from the War on Drugs and problematic drug use through political education, storytelling, and skills building. This is not an advocacy or a recovery space, but a space for healing, open and honest conversation, and community building.

The Asian American Drug War Healing Circle through the Center for Political Drug Education (CPDE) founded by Hsing Yi (Frances) Fu and Rhana Hashemi has been a safe space for Asian Americans to begin to unpack intergenerational layers of silence around drug use through political and drug education. This offering continues on at APC as the expanded Asian Drug War Healing Circle.

This is the fourth in a series of 5 events. The topic of this circle is "Individual & Collective Healing as Survivors of the War on Drugs”. In this circle, we will be exploring spiritual connections to drug use and the ways in which we interact with ourselves and loved ones who use drugs.

No one will be turned away from our events for a lack of funds. If tiered pricing is out of your budget, please contact us directly. And, if you have the means, please consider an additional donation to help us keep our programs running.

This gathering/series/event is for educational purposes only. The Asian Psychedelic Collective does not encourage or condone any illegal activity, including taking psychedelics.
