Sa’ed Al-Olimat, PharmD (he/him) is a Taiwanese Jordanian first generation American immigrant. He serves as a Community Pharmacy Manager, the Co-Founder of the Psychedelic Pharmacists Association, and the Founder of PsiloHealth. He is passionate about promoting safe and supportive community spaces where psychedelics can be explored, especially in Asian communities where these conversations have unique challenges to entry. Outside of his passion projects, he enjoys sharing time with loved ones, exploring depth psychology, practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and foraging for mushrooms.

Hsing Yi (Frances) Fu (she/her) is a Taiwanese American who has worked with people who use drugs as an organizer, educator, direct service provider, and healer for the last 11 years. She is the co-founder of the Center for Political Drug Education, which aims to heal the intergenerational trauma caused by the War on Drugs through political education, skill-building, and community building. Her last role was as the DOPE Project Manager in SF, where she oversaw community-based overdose prevention. Prior to that, she worked in SF Chinatown coordinating fundraising and communications for a workers’ and tenants’ rights organization. Today, she is at UC Davis Law School and will complete her JD in 2025. She is also a competitive pole aerialist and competed in her first competition in Oct 2022.

Xiaojue Hu, MD (she/her) is a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine’s Center for Psychedelic Medicine and a trainer and mentor at Fluence, a company that provides psychedelic education and training. She is also part of the group private practice Brain Food Clinic in collaboration with nutritional psychiatrist Dr. Drew Ramsey, which aims for a holistic approach to mental health.

Xiaojue was a former lead psychiatrist in the multilingual Asian Bicultural Clinic at Gouverneur Health in New York City. Born in Shanghai, she immigrated to Detroit, Michigan as a child and currently lives in Brooklyn. Aside from psychedelics, her interests include feminine spiritual traditions, art, film, and books. In her spare time, she can be found casting spells, drawing, and frolicking in the ocean. 

Sa’ad Shah (he/him) is the co-founder and managing partner of Noetic, a venture fund investing in global mental health solutions, with a focus on Central Nervous System (CNS) therapeutics, biotech, medtech, pharmaceutical companies and wellness.  This includes emerging and early-stage psychedelic-based wellness, therapeutic, and pharmaceutical companies around the world. He has spent the last 25 years in the capital markets and asset management industry with a focus on alternative investment strategies. 

Sa’ad was born in Karachi, Pakistan, and his ancestry also hails from Afghanistan and Turkey.  He has a deep interest in the history of entheogens and the important role that plant medicine has played across civilizations and cultures in continental Asia, starting from the paleolithic era. Sa’ad has an interest in documentary filmmaking, esoteric philosophies, and metaphysics. He is the proud father of two daughters, and lives in Toronto.
